Architectural Glass RFQ Checklist

For a glass supply quotation, start with the glass type, panel sizes and units, quantities, available drawings and destination. Use this checklist to organise a schedule for curved, tempered, laminated or insulated glass. Send what you have and identify any details still to be confirmed.

For designers, contractors & glass businesses · Export supply from China

Start with the Information You Have

Keep one line per panel type or size in your glass schedule. State whether dimensions are in millimetres or inches; do not mix units without labelling them. Identify the drawing revision and distinguish estimated quantities from confirmed quantities.

  • Glass type and intended application.
  • Finished panel sizes, units and quantity for each size or shape.
  • Drawing or schedule reference, revision and fabrication details available.
  • Delivery country and city or port; requested timing.
  • Project specifications and documents requested by your project team.

Add Details for Each Glass Configuration

The relevant details depend on the proposed construction. The lists below are prompts for your enquiry, rather than a declaration that every specification is suitable for every application. Your project specification and drawing review determine the proposed supply.

Tempered Glass

Include the intended finished dimensions and glass thickness, plus edge finish, hole positions, notches and cut-outs shown on a dimensioned drawing. These fabrication details need to be reviewed before heat treatment.

  • Identify panel shapes and quantities rather than only a total area.
  • Mark any required heat treatment or project documentation in the specification.

Curved Glass

Provide a drawing that defines the curve, height and glass build-up. If a radius or diameter is given, label which it is and whether the measurement is to the inner or outer surface. Identify arc length, chord and any straight tangents where available.

  • For a complex or multi-curved surface, include the available geometry files and sections.
  • State the intended glass treatment and whether the proposed panel is laminated or part of an insulated unit.
Enquire About Curved Glass

Laminated Glass

Describe the glass layers separately, including their thicknesses and intended treatment, and identify the interlayer type and thickness if specified. Include panel dimensions, edge details and the application. Mark any unknown layer or interlayer information for review.

Enquire About Laminated Glass

Insulated Glass Units

Describe the build-up from the outside to the inside. List the panes, any coatings and their specified surfaces, cavities, spacer or gas requirements where specified, and overall unit dimensions. Include any required thermal, solar or acoustic documentation for the proposed construction.

Enquire About Insulated Glass Units

Delivery, Inspection and Open Items

Give the delivery destination and requested date so packing and delivery terms can be discussed for the proposed order. List inspection records, third-party inspection arrangements or other documents requested by your project team. Document availability and scope are confirmed for the order.

Mark undecided details clearly. If several products are required, send one schedule with a separate build-up and quantity for each line.

Project questions

Can I enquire before the glass specification is final?

Yes. Send the application, available drawings, approximate quantity and destination, and mark the open items. A formal quotation may require more information; you do not need to complete every checklist item before contacting us.

How do I send drawings?

Email drawings to info@evermadeglass.com. The website form does not upload files. If you have already submitted the form, include the enquiry reference shown on the confirmation screen in your drawing email.

When can I expect a formal quotation?

A formal quotation is normally prepared within 1–3 working days after the required project information is available. Complex projects are reviewed separately.

Have a glass schedule or drawing?

Send the information you have. Include the glass type, approximate quantity and destination. We can clarify the remaining details with you.
