Use the terminology in your project documents and state the application. Identify the glass construction, supports and quantities rather than relying on either name as a complete specification.
Does the UAE reference define the glass for my railing?
No. It records one order. The appropriate construction and fixing details for a new project need to be confirmed against that project’s requirements.
Can I include fittings in the enquiry?
List them separately with drawings or part references. Their proposed supply and interface with the glass need review; they are not assumed to be included in a glass panel quotation.
Can this route be used for pool fencing or stair guards?
Yes, to submit the glass requirements for review. Identify the exact application and applicable project requirements. A pool barrier, a stair guard and a general fence should not be assumed to have identical system requirements.
