Separate the Glass Panels From the Enclosure System
Identify fixed screens, hinged door panels, sliding door panels and any different glass items in the project. A panel schedule helps distinguish repeated pieces from changes in room layout or hardware.
This page concerns glass supply. List requested fittings or other enclosure components separately for review. Site measurement, enclosure design and installation responsibilities should be clear in the project documents.
Use Finished Glass Dimensions and a Consistent Revision
Mark whether dimensions refer to the finished glass, the site opening or the overall enclosure. Include the drawing revision, units and panel orientation so fabrication requirements can be reviewed without guessing allowances.
For different bathrooms or room types, give each panel a mark and quantity. Identify handed, mirrored or sloping panels separately rather than treating them as the same piece.

Show the Hardware Machining Requirements
Include the selected hinge, clamp, roller and handle references where they affect fabrication. Supply the relevant drawing or template for holes, cut-outs, notches and edge details.
A photograph of the intended shower can explain the layout, but it does not define the machining. Resolve the glass-to-hardware interfaces with the responsible project parties before final fabrication drawings are agreed.
Specify the Glass Material, Finish and Required Documents
State the required glass construction, treatment and appearance. Identify low-iron material explicitly if it is specified, and include any finish or surface-treatment requirement for review.
For laminated constructions, provide the glass layers, interlayer and the intended wet-area conditions. Requested material compatibility and product evidence need to match the proposed construction. A glass specification alone does not establish the water-management performance of the complete enclosure.
Plan a Trade Batch or Multi-Room Project Order
Group the order by room type, panel mark and drawing revision. Include the number of repeated sets and identify different layouts so quantities and packing requirements can be checked together.
State the destination, requested delivery sequence and any panel identification needed for receipt or onward assembly. The supply proposal should make the glass items and any separately agreed components identifiable.

Can an enquiry cover both shower doors and fixed screens?
Yes. List the glass panels separately with their dimensions, hardware requirements and quantities. Identify any associated components as separate scope items.
Can I send only the bathroom opening sizes?
Opening sizes can provide context, but identify them as such. Finished glass dimensions and fabrication details need to be resolved with the project parties before the production drawings are agreed.
Does low-iron glass mean the panel is already tempered?
No. Low-iron describes the base material. Specify the required treatment and finished construction separately.
Is there a fixed order quantity or standard thickness on this page?
